HOUSTON (Friday, July 31, 2015)--Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash players will participate in a charity power soccer exhibition game against the Houston Fireballs on Wednesday, August 5, it was announced today.
The event, supported by Dynamo Charities and presented by the Halliburton Charitable Foundation, will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Fonde Community Center (110 Sabine St., Houston, TX 77007). Dynamo midfielders Rob Lovejoy and Nathan Sturgis and defender David Horst will participate in the event along with Dash midfielder Brittany Bock, defender Lauren Sesselman and forwards Tiffani McCarty and Kealia Ohai. Players will be available to the media starting at 6:30 p.m.
The power soccer exhibition will utilize power wheelchairs and will be played in a 4 vs. 4 format. The game will be conducted with the mission of bringing awareness and promoting inclusion for all athletes.
